vehicles demonstrate the

effectiveness of the Dei-Max® renewable filter in removing

solid  particlulates from engine

oil during normal operation.

 

Dei-Max® renewable oil filters have been tested

both in the laboratory and in the line of duty by

several of the best police agencies in the country.

 

Automotive manufacturers do not advertise oil filter

performance standards. Filter manufacturers are

encouraged to adhere to the Society of Automotive

Engineers (SAE) OIL FILTER TEST PROCEDURE

HS-806 and a more recent J1858 version.

 

The purpose of  SAE FILTER TEST PROCEDURE

code is to provide a means for evaluating the

performance characteristics of full-flow oil filters

on laboratory bench equipment.

 

Since the lube oil filter becomes an integral part of

the engine lubrication system, it’s actual performance

is subject to variations in operating conditions such as oil flow, temperature fluctuations, environment, and/or

vibrations that are difficult to duplicate in a laboratory.

 

SAE FILTER TEST PROCEDURE does not place

limitations on performance requirements and/or

tolerances, as these are considered the responsibility

of the user and manufacturer.
